Craig Wallbridge’s epic 90 mile charity walk
Published 27th August 2021
Craig Wallbridge and his fantastic bunch of supporters set off at 6am this morning to start their epic 90 mile charity walk to raise money for both the EBA and Ronald McDonald House.
Craig and Alice’s son Tommy, spent 5 and a half months on the Trevor Mann Baby unit after Tommy was born 16 weeks premature weighing just 720g.
Craig and his team are walking from the Brighton Trevor Mann Unit along the coastal route back to Ashford William Harvey NICU which will be completed over 4 days, sleeping under the stars and ending with a big fun day on bank holiday Monday.
Heidi and her son Forrest were privileged to join Craig for the first mile of their walk today and were grateful to be able to thank everyone in person for their fantastic efforts.
Tune in to @BBCRadioSussex this morning at 9.40am to hear Craig’s interview about his son Tommy and his challenge.
We wish Craig, Alice and their supporters the best of luck with their walk and are so very grateful for them raising much needed funds for the charity.
