GivingTuesday

Today, Tuesday 1st December is GivingTuesday, a day where everyone, everywhere, can do something to support the good causes that mean so much to them.

We know how busy life can be, but we wondered if this Tuesday you could pledge to do something to help the EBA? Could you donate one day of your time in 2021 to help us?

Our committee is made up of parents who all volunteer their time, so we’d love any support you could offer. Here’s some ideas we came up with –

*official EBA cheerleader – attend an event where someone is participating to raise money for us and give them a big cheer on their way

*donate time to help us with fundraising ideas

*help us with a project – sometimes we need help to redecorate the community spaces

*pass on your expertise in how to approach local businesses who may have CSR (corporate social responsibility) budgets we could apply for

*just be on hand! Who knows what 2021 with bring, so perhaps you’re happy just to throw your name in the hat to hear from us as and when we need a bit of extra help

*something else – let us know what you’re an expert in and what you think you could do to help.

If this sounds like something you could and would like to do, please send us a message. Every day donated will make a big difference to how we help the units and the families who need to stay there.

A big thank you also to all those who have donated their time to us in 2020 and who also made contact with us to volunteer.  This year we have had to operate differently due to the Coronavirus Pandemic but rest assured we still have your details and look forward to meeting with you next year when we can.
