Baby Loss Awareness Week and Wave of Light
Published 8th October 2020

Tomorrow marks the start of Baby Loss Awareness Week. The Early Birth Association is here to support all babies, parents and family members of baby’s who have been on TMBU and PRH SCBU, and our hearts go out to all those who have tragically experienced the death of a baby. We have lots of news posts planned over the coming week, including pieces written by parents who have experienced baby loss. If you’d like us to feature your story in memory of your baby, please send us a message. We are also going to be sharing links to helpful sources of support and advice. Baby Loss Awareness Week culminates with the global “Wave of Light” on 15th October, which is also a globally recognised event. We invite you to join us and other families across the world by lighting a candle at 7pm local time and leaving it burning for at least one hour to remember all babies that have died too soon.
