Million Metre May Challenge raises a phenomenal £2690!
Published 10th June 2020

We heard from the amazing Adam Cattell last week who undertook the Million Metre May cycling challenge for The EBA! He obviously wrote this on a sunny day last week, but at least reading about the sunshine when its raining out like it is today might cheer us all up!
Adam said.. “June is now here and the sun is shining – both literally and metaphorically. The weather is gorgeous and the thought of potentially never getting on that bloody Peloton bike ever again, has made it bright inside my head. My poor bottom… Phil and I would like to thank all of our sponsors for their generous support. As of right now, we have raised £2,690 (£3,322 including Gift Aid) which has almost exclusively been raised by Haywards Heath Golf Club members. On behalf of myself and Phil, thank you all so much.”
All of us at The EBA would like to say a huge thank you to Adam and Phil for undertaking this challenge. Your fundraising at a time when a lot of our events have had to be postponed is particularly appreciated and allows us to continue our essential work for the baby units. Thank you also to everyone who sponsored Adam and Phil and the Haywards Heath Golf Club members for their ongoing support of us.
