The Million Metre May Cycle Challenge
Published 30th April 2020
Adam Cattell, a member of Haywards Heath Golf Club is taking on an incredible challenge to raise funds for the EBA by setting out to ride 1000km on his home spin bike during the month of May! In Adam’s own words “I have bought myself a Peloton spin bike to try and offset the increased amounts of alcohol and Cadbury’s Dairy Milk I’m currently consuming during lockdown and I wanted to set myself a challenge to try and keep myself sane over this period and I have come up with Million Metre May.” Haywards Heath Golf Club have chosen The EBA as their Captains’ Charity of the Year for 2020 and Adam is undertaking Million Metre May as part of their fundraising effort. We think this is such a great idea and an admirable feat for Adam to undertake, and also thank the golf club members for their generosity in sponsoring him. So far he has already raised an amazing £720.00 out of his £2,600.00 target. To read more of more Adam’s story and make a donation please visit his Virgin Giving Page.
