What a night! Sussex Produce Company dinner and raffle fundraiser success to help celebrate World Prematurity Day
Published 17th November 2019
A great evening was had by everyone last night who attended our EBA fundraising dinner at the wonderful Sussex Produce Company restaurant in Steyning. We had a purple theme to the evening to help mark World Prematurity Day and a talented local piano player to play us some well known tunes and take requests throughout the evening. We started off the evening by listening to a welcome speech given by our committee member and Trustee Julie Lester. We then had three courses of delicious local food expertly prepared and cooked by the talented chef and his team, and were served and looked after by the lovely restaurant manager Anya and her team who made us so welcome and have been so supportive of us as their chosen charity of the month. Everyone who attended very generously brought lots of raffles tickets (we sold out!) and we drew the raffle at the end of the evening where we had lots of happy winners. Thank you to all the local businesses that generously donated prizes for our draw.
An amazing £220 was raised for the EBA from the raffle ticket sales and and a further £140 from ticket sales from the evening! This money will really help us to continue our work to support the baby units so thank you to everyone who came along last night and everyone who supported the event.
